HELLO !
Hate to be soooo negative but I've 2 things I'm really dissatisfied about
(and it's not just me btw so they should be taken note of)

1. EXCO ELECTS WHO WANT TO BE PRESIDENT! definitely, taking more proactive steps are necessary. Okay, sticking up paper on the wall and baking to raise funds are well & good, keep up the good work Jeremy & Nazira! That's effort in serving: good, good! (:
But importantly, I'd like to see examples of how the 3 of you can lead. Leading is getting people to get/clear the mats, motivating people, being encouraging...etc.
I don't reeeally see that in any of the elects now and I can't envisage any of you being the president. It's causing me, and some others, distress over the future of the club. Don't forget that we might abstain from voting!
So please buck up in your efforts, guys! We want to see our club in good hands and we're very willing to give you the chance to lead! Please show us why you deserve to lead (:

2. Carrying of mats: Sorry to be naggy but it's absolutely troubling to have to carry the mats while the same few people slack without fail after every session - buying drinks, chatting, hanging around, extra-extra-extra training that ends real late (okay, this at least beats buying a calorie-laden drink and slacking around watching the rest carry mats)...
Again, just as people notice inaction among the exco elects, don't you believe for a moment that nobody notices you're not doing your part carrying mats. Hoho, you mightn't know it but if you're one of the slackers, you're DEFINITELY noticed and being spoken about unfavourably.
Of course, this ain't no popularity competition but rather, part of your Aikido experience, and as a personal obligation as a team member of the NJC AIKIDO CLUB. Anyway - trains your muscles !

Lastly, hellooo where's the spirit of running in an election! This isn't the US presidential elections, there's no need for mudslinging against your rival candidates. It only reflects upon yourself, guys! Actions speak louder than words: prove that you can lead. No need to run others down. Not impressive, nada.

Today was a fun session, thanks especially to JILLIAN ! :D

P.S. I'm okay with 9th May as the elections date!
