Hello.
ACS(I) - (independent, not international) is proposing to have an exchange session thingy with us.
According to the email from Aikido Shinju-Kai,
Our Aikido students at ACS(I) have asked their teachers and are very keen to come over for an exchange session. They gave proposed dates: 20th May – 22rd May from 1.00 pm onwards.
If we actually do carry this out, we'll get to train with more people (at least for this one session), and i'm guessing that after that we could propose another date to go over and train with them at their dojo (ACS(I) you know... they *may* have an air-conditioned dojo). If it works out well, perhaps we could have more inter-school Aikido activities. Sounds cool?
Problem is,
1) 20-22 doesn't include friday (hey... is it 22nd or 23rd i see? the email says "22rd"). Assuming it's 23rd, then this problem isn't a problem at all and you can skip to point 2. If it is 22nd, then Mr Lim suggested having it on Tuesday, which means Anh won't be able to make it.
2) It might overlap with J2 common tests
Is everyone up for this? I'll let you guys know again tomorrow.
Meanwhile, i'll check with friends over there and try find some info about how the club is like over there.
On a side note, please don't get too worked up or hostile about elections. I hope that you guys are actually running cos you wanna help the club, and not just for the position. That being said, if you don't get the position you ran for, i hope you guys will still keep up the same enthusiasm for building the club up, and be nice to and cooperative with the new exco.
Cheers
kaisheng

Exchange Session with ACS(I)
