In addition, the old exco has handed these over to the new exco!
- Attendance Taking
- Club funds
So please inform them if you are unable to make it for any trainings due to valid reasons! Alright. Good luck to the IP3s/J1s for your common tests! And good luck to the IPs/IP4s/J2s when we get back our results! (: Good night! (:

Lee Ping
Hello! (: During training today, I spotted someone that I didn't expect to see! It's Lee Ping, our senior! Here's a picture of her! (It's the only picture that we have of her)
She has gotten her multi-dojo pass recently! And she may be joining us for our next training so if you see her around, please greet her (: She's small, has long hair and has hakama-fied! Yeps.
On a side note, it's now compulsory to bring a towel when you train at the headquarters. And well, please do not bring a huge one. A handkerchief is sufficient! (:
Lastly, the exco matters may be a little confusing now. But we are slowly transferring over the duties! (: From now on, the new exco has taken over the attendance-taking so please do inform them if you are unable to make it for trainings. Also, the club funds will be passed over soon! We will update you soon (:

June holidays HQ training
Hi people.
Since it's the holidays now, we could train at hq instead of in school (just like we did last year), to interact and train with a wider variety of people. The training standard, dojo atmosphere and whatnot is worlds apart from what we have in school, and it'll be a good chance to gain exposure. AND, training in hq means you don't have to pack/unpack mats!
Anyway,
The Aikido Shinjukai HQ training schedule is as follows:
MON: 8.00pm - 9.30pm
TUE: 7.15am - 8.15am
WED: 6.30pm - 8.00pm
THU: 7.15am - 8.15am
8.00pm - 9.30pm
FRI: 8.00pm - 9.30pm
SAT: 9.00am - 10.30am
2.00pm - 3.00pm*
SUN: 9.30am - 10.30am
12.15pm - 1.15pm*
3.30pm - 4.30pm*
5.00pm - 6.00pm*
* denotes adults and children class
(sorry if it's hard to read. the timetable's available here http://www.aikidoshinjukai.com/eng/dojos/hq-schedules.htm).
(I think we're allowed to join the adults & childrens classes too - chai lin/han dong, please correct me if I'm wrong. Is the standard lower than normal adults class?)
Please reply this email as soon as possible with the sessions that you can attend so that we can pick a good training slot for all. Please try to be available for at least 2 non-weekend sessions so that hopefully we wont get stuck with the recurring problem of not being able to get a day with full attendance. I'm hoping that we'll be able to go for a weekday training instead of a weekend one (assuming weekday trainings are less crowded).
Thanks!
Kai Sheng
